Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Production Assembler to join a growing company in Peosta, IA. This is a full-time role with prior assembly experience, working Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM. You will interpret drawings, set up conveyors, inspect tools, and assemble components in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret assembly drawings to understand build requirements, finishes, and any custom product features.
• Set up and verify that conveyor controls, safety mechanisms, and workstations are functioning properly.
• Inspect hand tools and power tools to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Assemble products by fitting, aligning, and securing components and sub-assemblies according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure all parts and finished products meet company standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors or team leads when clarification or support is needed.
• Clear materials and reset the workstation at the end of each production run.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Provide support to other production lines as needed.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
