Job summary

Chart, Inc. in Stafford, TX is seeking a Production Assembler/Material Handler to join a fast-growing cryogenic equipment team. You will perform cleaning, material handling, inspection, packaging, and help prepare parts for production and shipment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma/GED, 1–2 years shop experience with mechanical/electrical background, forklift experience preferred, and strong Microsoft Office skills; safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; basic shop experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred; ability to operate safely.
• Strong attention to detail and basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and follow safety rules.
• Mechanical/electrical background helpful for assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleanup: sweeping, waste removal, cleaning shop and offices.
• Lubricates and hand-cleans parts, assemblies, materials, and equipment.
• Receives, inspects, and stores incoming materials and equipment.
• Performs incoming inspection for quantity, quality, and damage.
• Maintains finished parts storage and assembles parts into sets/kits.
• Packages and labels products for shipment and storage.
• Loads/unloads materials using forklifts, cranes, or hoists as needed.
• Ensures safety procedures and PPE are used; works with minimal supervision.
