Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a shop helper in Stafford, TX to support general cleanup, material handling, and basic assembly in a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of shop experience, familiarity with power tools, and strong organizational and communication skills. Forklift experience is preferred, with supervision to maintain quality and timely production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years shop experience, mechanical/electrical preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Familiar with shop operations.
• Electrical background preferred.
• Familiar with power tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; PC skills.
• Excellent organization and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleanup and maintain organized shop areas.
• Lubricate, hand-clean parts, assemblies, and materials and production equipment.
• Receive, inspect and store incoming materials and equipment.
• Perform incoming inspection for quantity, quality and damage and store or deliver appropriately.
• Maintain storage and packaging of parts for production and shipment.
