Job summary

Chart Industries in Stafford, TX is hiring a Production Assembler/Material Handler. You will clean and prep parts, receive materials, inspect items, and assemble sets while maintaining safety and organization in a climate controlled shop.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of shop experience with a mechanical/electrical background, forklift experience preferred, and solid PC/software skills. This role offers growth in a high‑growth cryogenic equipment environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years shop experience with mechanical/electrical background preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Familiar with shop operations and power tools.
• Excellent organization and verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleanup of shop and office areas, fixtures and equipment.
• Lubricate and clean parts, assemblies, and production equipment.
• Receive, check and store incoming materials and equipment.
• Perform incoming inspection of goods for quantity, quality and damage.
• Maintain finished parts, stockroom, and pack/prepare sets or kits as required.
• Package or assist in packaging parts and materials for storage or delivery.
• Support safe, compliant shop operations and proper PPE usage.
• Unloads ovens and assists with hydrostatic tests and setup of equipment.
• Assist with skid builds, paint touch ups, or assembly tasks as needed.
• Load/unload parts using forklifts, cranes, and hoists.
