Job summary

Great Plains Industries, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Full-time Manual Labor worker to perform assembly functions on the production line in a safe, efficient manner to deliver a quality product.

The role requires stacking up to 50–75 lbs, standing long shifts, wearing PPE, and following 6S standards. Two shifts are available in a temperature-controlled factory environment, with potential overtime on Fridays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar production environment.
• Technical training from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product as instructed by Assembly Trainer.
• Use tools properly to insure a quality product.
• Communicate production needs with teammates to meet daily goals.
• Keep work area clean and follow 6S process.
• Be flexible and learn new skills for different tasks.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing training and Kaizen events.
