Marquee Staffing is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Worker / Laser Tech (Operator) in San Marcos, CA. The role pays $19.00–$20.00/hr with a $0.50 shift differential and is temp-to-hire, full-time.
You will operate CNC laser equipment, load parts, set offsets, perform edits, inspect parts and read drawings. Strong attention to detail and English communication are required.

Parts produced are typically: Small and fragile Electronics-based components Thin alumina ceramics Thin metals such as stainless steel, titanium, and copper Some plastics
Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment preferred
Setup, offsets, changeovers, and simple program editing experience highly desirable
Ability to use precision measuring instruments including: Calipers Micrometers Depth gauges Indicators and scales
Ability to read blueprints/drawings and understand shop math
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Excellent visual inspection skills for small features/components
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
English communication skills required (written and verbal)
Ability to adapt in a fast-changing production environment
Willingness to train on 1st shift if needed
CNC Experience? Candidates with CNC milling experience (HAAS, Fadal, Mitsubishi, etc.) are encouraged to apply. Must be able to transfer machining skills to 2-axis laser machining centers using Aerotech controllers.
Operate CNC laser machining equipment
Load parts and set offsets
Perform simple program edits
Deburr and inspect finished parts
Read and interpret drawings/specifications
Measure and mark dimensions
Monitor machine performance and report issues
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Perform basic preventative maintenance
Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineering, quality, and production teams
Assist with equipment startup/shutdown once trained
