Job summary

Surge is seeking a dependable Production Assembler to complete mechanical assemblies accurately, safely, and efficiently in a production environment. The ideal candidate will use hand and power tools, read assembly drawings, and work with precise measurements and tolerances.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, following standards, using measuring equipment safely, and maintaining required tolerances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Read blueprints, assembly drawings, shop orders and packing lists.
• Experience using tape measures, calipers, micrometers and similar tools.
• Understand fractions and decimals, and maintain tolerances.

Pay: $19–$21/hour
Shifts: All Shifts Available

Position Overview

• 2+ years of production/manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, shop orders, and packing lists
• Experience using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and similar tools
• Basic understanding of fractions, decimals, and measurements
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
