Job description


Under the supervision of the Group Leader, the Production Assembler is responsible for operating and maintaining assembly equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the company.


Read, interpret and understand blueprints and welding symbols to complete job assignments.


* Use hand tools, clamps and grinders to perform job tasks.


* Adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices.


* Any other duties that fall within the employee's capabilities.


* Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling can be expected.


* Long periods of sitting and walking can also be expected in this position.


* Use of basic tools and equipment.


* Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing areas may be required and will require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection.


* The work environment will include their own workstation or cubicle space equipped with a telephone, headset and computer as required for the job.


* Team member must be mobile enough to navigate the manufacturing shop floor safely including walking and standing for up to four hours at a time.



Experience and requirements:

You're a curious problem solver who can bring big ideas to life. You're creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease. You're agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we always deliver top-notch customer experiences. You also have:




  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in heavy duty machining/ manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to read tape measure and blueprints.

  • Demonstrated skill level of wire feed (MIG) welding.

  • Ability to read and understand work order routings and instructions.

  • Ability to layout parts using weld fixtures.

  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
