Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking an Assembler/Production Associate for our Sumter, SC facility. This 100% on-site role involves performing manufacturing and assembly tasks for medical devices, reading procedures, and maintaining quality standards to ensure safe, compliant production.

The day shift runs 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on a rotating schedule with weekends. Requires high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of experience, steel-toe footwear, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing/assembly experience.
  • Steel toe shoes required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to work 8:00 AM–8:00 PM on a rotating schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing/assembly tasks involved in fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.
  • Set up, operate, perform basic maintenance on, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Conduct quality inspections to meet specifications.
  • Read, interpret, and follow written procedures/specifications (English).
  • Use basic measurement tools.
  • Rotate into different tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Maintain regular attendance and follow quality/safety guidelines.

ASSEMBLER/PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

Location: Sumter, SC – 100% on-site

Payrate: $15.90/hr

Required Availability: Full-Time | Day shift 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (schedule: 3 days on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off, weekends included)

Full-time hours (40+ per week)

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Responsibilities
  • Perform manufacturing/assembly tasks involved in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices
  • Set up, operate, perform basic maintenance on, and troubleshoot equipment as needed
  • Conduct quality inspections on the processing line to meet specifications
  • Read, interpret, and follow written procedures/specifications (English) and perform basic math calculations
  • Use basic measurement tools (example: microscopes)
  • Rotate into different tasks/responsibilities as needed; work effectively in a team environment
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance and follow quality/safety guidelines
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) required
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
  • Experience: 1+ year of manufacturing/assembly experience
  • Footwear: Steel toe shoes required
  • Vision: Eye exam required contingent upon hire; must have 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses and/or pass a color vision exam
  • Physical: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods
  • Schedule: Ability to work 8:00 AM–8:00 PM day shift on a rotating schedule (includes weekends); willingness to work flexible/extended hours as needed
  • Skills: Effective communication; ability to read/write/understand English specifications; attention to detail; team-oriented
