Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking an entry-level Assembler for a 12-month contract in Sumter, SC. You will assist in the fabrication, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices, and you’ll set up, operate and troubleshoot equipment as required.

Expect 40 hours per week with a night-shift schedule (8:00 PM–8:00 AM) across a 3-on/2-off and 2-on/3-off rotation. A HS diploma or GED is required and a W2 contract offers steady earnings at $15.50 per hour.

• 0–1 year of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret English specifications.

Job Summary

Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line per quality specifications
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods, adhering to quality guidelines

Experience

• 0-1 year of manufacturing assembly experience
• Previous manufacturing work experience

• Reading, writing, interpreting, and comprehending specifications in English

• Use of basic measurement tools (e.g., microscopes)

Physical Demands

• Must pass eye exam prior to start: 20/30 vision (with or without corrective lenses) and/or successful color vision exam (available Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work flexible/extended hours and report to work regularly and punctually
