Job summary

Forcepersonnelok in Oklahoma City is hiring Production Assembly Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team. You will build large, custom commercial HVAC equipment using hand tools, power tools, measurements, blueprints, and detailed instructions.

You will work as part of a team assembling components from the ground up while learning manufacturing, mechanical, and construction-related skills in a climate-controlled facility with a four-day workweek and strong opportunities for long-term

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with measuring tools and varied hand tools is beneficial.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components per production specifications.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Use drills, screw guns and other basic production tools.
• Measure materials and components accurately before installation.
• Lift, position, and organize raw materials for assembly.
• Fit and fasten parts to build finished equipment.
• Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain organized tools, materials, and workspace.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist and train less-experienced teammates as needed.

Employees help build large, custom commercial air-handling equipment using hand tools, power tools, measurements, blueprints, and detailed production instructions. What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Assembly Technician, you will:

• Assemble mechanical components and equipment according to production specifications
• Read and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions
• Use handheld power tools including drills, screw guns, and other basic production tools
• Measure materials and components accurately before installation
• Lift, position, and organize raw materials needed for assembly
• Fit and fasten parts together to build finished equipment
• Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process
• Identify basic assembly or quality issues before products move to the next stage of production
• Complete required production paperwork and checklists
• Keep tools, materials, and work areas organized
• Follow established manufacturing and safety procedures
• Assist and train less‑experienced team members as your knowledge of the position grows
• Perform additional production duties as needed

Physical Requirements

This is an active manufacturing position. Candidates should be comfortable:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequently bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
• Using their hands throughout the shift to handle tools and materials
• Frequently lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally climbing or working in different positions while assembling equipment
• Performing repetitive physical tasks throughout a 10‑hour shift

Work Environment & Safety

This position works inside a primarily climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The production environment involves machinery, tools, materials, and normal manufacturing noise. Employees are expected to follow all established safety procedures at all times.

Required PPE may include:

• Steel-toe shoes or boots
• Safety glasses
• Cut-resistant gloves
• Protective arm sleeves
• Bump cap
• Hearing protection

Hearing protection is required while working on the production floor.
