PetSmart is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Production Artist to support their creative team. This role involves optimizing digital assets, collaborating across functions, and ensuring brand consistency. Ideal candidates will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, organized, and passionate about pets.

You’re a detail-obsessed Digital Production Artist who thrives in the digital landscape. You
know how to bring order to creative complexity, ensuring every asset—from imagery to
metadata—is polished, accurate, and on brand. You've partnered across functions to keep
workflows smooth and assets flowing.

You're fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS, and digital asset workflows, with bonus points
for experience in DAMs, PIMs, and dynamic media systems.

Who do you report to? Creative Director, Brand Campaigns, Digital, Photography & Video
Responsibilities:
• Support the creation of clean, well-organized wireframes and digital assets based on design briefs, ensuring accuracy and clarity for developers and designers.
• Assist in optimizing assets for web, mobile, and social platforms, working closely with developers to maintain quality across formats.
• Prepare and export files using production tools and templates, following established processes to deliver accurate outputs efficiently.
• Help gather, crop, and organize product photography for use in digital designs, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
• Conduct basic quality checks on assets to ensure they meet project specs, design standards, and brand consistency.
• Flag layout, resolution, or color issues during production and help troubleshoot under guidance from senior team members.
• Maintain organized working files, using proper naming conventions and version control to support easy handoff and team collaboration.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure smooth asset flow and timely delivery.
• Translate creative concepts into production-ready files under direction, adapting designs to meet platform-specific needs.
• Support QA processes by preparing assets for review and making revisions based on feedback.
• Keep production folders and design components tidy and labeled to ensure assets are reusable and scalable.
Qualifications:
• 2–4 years of experience in a production artist, digital designer, or related role with a portfolio demonstrating attention to detail and execution.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and/or Figma).
• Basic knowledge of file types, resolution, and digital production processes.
• Familiarity with responsive web and digital design formats (e.g., social media, email, and web assets).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Organized, deadline-driven, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communicator and reliable team player who’s eager to learn and grow alongside senior creatives.
