Position Summary
The Production Liaison plays a crucial role in communication within our fast-paced environment. This position requires agility and a commitment to growth. The primary responsibility is to understand and communicate the capabilities of Culture Studio to consistently impress clients. The role involves understanding and executing the client’s vision efficiently while recording results. Culture Studio operates from two locations: our headquarters in Chicago and a production facility in Daytona Beach, along with a global network of partners. This position is based on-site at our Chicago location, with production communication during the 2nd shift.

- Maintain a clear understanding of order expectations to make proactive, educated decisions through concise communication with internal teams and clients. Understanding client vision, shipping dates, locations, and production capabilities is vital.
- Take and send photo approvals quickly and accurately, with high attention to detail. Use resources to make necessary adjustments before showing the client, and work to receive timely responses.
- Foster strong internal and external relationships to ensure efficient and effective communication across all fronts.
Position Duties
- Adjust art, inks, and print sequences to ensure the physical product matches digital mockups accurately.
- Photograph products for social media, internal marketing, and client approvals promptly and professionally.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding art and photo approvals via email and phone to ensure satisfaction and print accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal teams and production network via phone, email, and Slack to meet production needs.
- Work closely with print teams to troubleshoot production issues, understanding substrates, inks, mesh, LPI, DPI, and press settings.
- Preflight raster and vector artwork for high-profile clients.
- Check completed sample orders for high-profile clients to ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
- Log KPIs to track photo approval and sample success rates.
- Collaborate with teams to make quick, effective decisions without delaying production timelines.
- Update platforms to track changes made during production or sampling.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency with Mac computers and mastery of shortcut keys.
- Advanced understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (industry-specific preferred).
- Ability to handle all vector and raster art efficiently.
- Knowledge of screen print production processes, including squeegee types, pressure, and angles.
- Understanding of embroidery production, color theory, typography, and branding.
- Familiarity with underbases and ink types.
- Working knowledge of darkroom/pre-press processes (mesh, LPI, etc.).
- Photography experience is a plus.
