Job summary

The Imagine Group in California is seeking a Production Artist to support our creative team. You will create adaptive layouts, retouch assets, and prepare files for print manufacturing, laying the foundation for a smooth workflow and on-time delivery.

Collaborate with account managers, review comps, build production mechanicals, and produce deliverables for print and digital. A team player who understands the production process and can assist across daily responsibilities is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university a plus but not required.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong design sense and technical understanding of production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Creative Account Managers to create adaptive layouts for entertainment and consumer brand clients.
• Provide production support by reviewing comps, creating templates, and building production mechanicals for final delivery.
• Partnering with account managers to ensure projects meet client expectations efficiently.
• Produce deliverables for both print and digital.
• Understand how projects move through all phases of production.
• Be a true team player and assist with tasks outside daily responsibilities.

Job Summary

The Production Artist will be responsible for providing production support to our creative team and accounts. These responsibilities include creating adaptive creative layouts, retouching, preparing digital assets and/or files for print manufacturing. The production artist sets the foundation for a successful workflow process to ensure projects meet client expectations.

Pay Range

USD $33 - $40/Hr

Pay Statement

The national pay range for this role is listed in the job posting. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. Requirements

Minimum Qualifications of Position

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university a plus but not required.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications Of Position

• Proficient in all necessary design applications including Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
• Technically strong understanding of design tools and techniques.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to take direction.
• Able to work independently and within a team environment.
• Creative, passionate, flexible and a self-starter.
• Comfortable working within a deadline driven environment.
