Job summary

Salamander Designs Ltd is seeking an attentive assembly/woodworking helper to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. You will contribute to producing custom wood products for residential and commercial projects.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accuracy with hand and electric tools, reading tape measures, and lifting 10-50 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier loads. We value punctuality and a collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• Positive team-building attitude and punctuality is a must.
• Ability to operate Hand tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to use hand tools, and electric tools when necessary.
• Prefer some experience in or related to assembly and/or carpentry/woodworking.

Responsibilities

• Produce custom wood products and projects safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate hand and electric tools as required.
• Lift and move materials; maintain organization and cleanliness on the shop floor.

If you have experience in assembly, sanding, finishing and/or are mechanically inclined, we want you to become a part of our dynamic and growing team.

• Work in non-climate controlled facility
