Job summary

Manpower, Inc. seeks a Scientist II, Production Analytical Chemist in Burnet, TX to join the production analytics team. You will operate and troubleshoot advanced instruments in a cleanroom/laboratory to test production samples and ensure product quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Analytical Chemistry or related field and 2+ years’ instrument experience (LC, LC-MS, IC, GC, ICP-OES/ICP-MS). Must be US citizen or green card holder. Shifts: Wed-Sat, 2pm-12am, with a 10% bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining analytical instrumentation (LC, LC-MS, IC, IC-MS, GC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES).
• Hands-on experience with trace metal analysis in cleanroom or high-volume lab environments.
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office); LIMS experience preferred.
• Ability to safely handle and dispose of chemicals and maintain a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot advanced analytical instruments to test production samples and support product quality in a cleanroom/laboratory setting.
• Analyze, review, and communicate analytical results with accurate documentation and traceability.
• Maintain instrumentation, tools, chemicals, and consumables for QC analysis.
• Support continuous improvement by proposing or leading testing method improvements.
• Serve as a lab SME by promoting safety and quality and training others after onboarding.

As a Scientist II, Production Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the production analytical chemistry group supporting manufacturing operations and quality-focused analytical testing. • 2+ years of experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining analytical instrumentation (including LC, LC-MS, IC, IC-MS, GC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES).
• Hands-on experience with trace metal analysis and strong familiarity with cleanroom or high-volume laboratory environments.
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office); LIMS experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to safely handle and dispose of chemicals, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and complete lab work accurately and independently.
