Job summary

Oddball seeks an Applied AI / Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy practical AI-powered solutions that solve real-world problems. This hands-on role covers experimentation through deployment, with collaboration across engineers, designers, and product teams.

You will apply modern ML and GenAI techniques to structured and unstructured data, and build data pipelines for training and inference while balancing latency and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in ML concepts, including training, validation, and evaluation.
• Experience building and deploying ML models in real-world apps.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML and AI-powered features in production.
• Apply supervision, unsupervised, and deep learning to structured/unstructured data.
• Build and evaluate models for classification, ranking, NLP, or anomaly detection.
• Develop GenAI solutions (LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, agents).
• Translate business needs into ML problems, metrics, and experiments.
