Job summary

LangChain is seeking a Deployed Engineer in New York City to help build and operate AI agents in production. You’ll work with customer engineering teams, design production-grade architectures, and drive technical wins during pre-sales and post-sale engagements.

This hands-on role requires 3+ years in software or solutions engineering, strong Python/JavaScript, production experience with agent-based or LL-powered apps, and willingness to travel up to 40% to client sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a relevant technical role (software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering).
• Strong Python and JavaScript fundamentals and systems knowledge.
• Experience designing agent-based or LL-powered applications beyond API calls.

Responsibilities

• Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer teams.
• Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs and guiding evaluations.
• Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications and advise post-sale on architecture and roadmap.
• Deliver technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences.
