Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a Production Accountant to manage accounting for a portfolio of operated assets, ensuring accurate reflection of field operations. You will collaborate with Lease Operators, Foremen, Superintendents, and Measurement to resolve issues before close.

The role covers month-end close, allocations, master data, and regulatory reporting support, with emphasis on data integrity and process improvements. Crescent values disciplined growth and compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Energy Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of upstream oil and gas production accounting experience.
• Experience with ProCount or comparable production accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary production accounting representative for an assigned portfolio of operated assets and monitor production fluctuations.
• Perform month-end production accounting activities and maintain allocation networks and master data.
• Investigate production variances and discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting and SOX-compliant records.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Revenue, Regulatory, Land, and Marketing to ensure accurate production reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Support testing and improvements of production accounting processes and integration of acquired assets.
