Job summary

ADP, Inc. in DeKalb, IL is seeking a plating operator to review work orders, set tank controls, and ensure proper tank setup and execution of plating instructions.

You will also rack parts, inspect surface preparation and masking, and verify that all previous operations are complete before plating, while maintaining a clean work area and following EH&S regulations. Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Review work order and related paperwork for plating instructions
• Identify job parameters and set tank controls accordingly
• Proper tank setup and execution of plating instructions
• Proper racking and tooling of parts
• Inspect parts for proper surface preparation and masking
• Ensure that all previous operations have been completed prior to plating
• Visually inspect all parts for quality of work
• Strip parts as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned
