Job summary

Wedgewood Pharmacy in Albany, Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of finished product units. You will visually inspect vials, syringes, and ampules, flag non-conforming lots, and document results in batch records.

This temporary role offers a flexible schedule with 4 to 40 hours per week, onsite work, and pay of $18 per hour. Candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, standing or sitting for extended periods, and following gowning and

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass visual acuity screening (near vision, color discrimination).
• Strong attention to detail; comfortable with repetitive tasks.
• Prior manufacturing/production experience is a plus, but not required.
• Extended standing/sitting at an inspection station.
• Ability to wear cleanroom gowning where required.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect final container products (vials, syringes, ampules, etc.) for particles, defects, and irregularities.
• Segregate and flag non-conforming units per SOP.
• Document inspection results in batch records/quality systems.
• Report defects or anomalies to Quality personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized inspection workstation.
• Follow gowning, safety, and cGMP requirements.

You would be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of finished product units by performing detailed inspections, identifying defects, and removing non-conforming products from each batch. This role plays a critical part in upholding quality standards and supporting the organization’s mission of improving the lives of animals and those who love them.

The Basics

Location: Albany, Ohio (onsite)

Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time as a Temporary Employee

Schedule: Pick your schedule ... minimum of 4 hours/week, or up to 40 hours/week ... Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM ... Project will start on September 14, 2026 and is anticipated to run through January 2027

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Benefits: Temporary Employee - Not Eligible for Benefits
