Job summary

Wedgewood Pharmacy in Albany, OH is seeking a part-time or full-time Product Visual Inspector (training provided) to ensure quality of finished product units through detailed visual inspections. The role is onsite, with a flexible schedule and a temporary assignment starting Sept 14, 2026, through January 2027.

Compensation is $18.00 per hour, with no benefits for temporary staff. You will inspect containers (vials, syringes, ampules) for particles and defects, document results, and follow cGMP

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass visual acuity screening (near vision, color discrimination)
• Strong attention to detail; comfortable with repetitive tasks
• Prior manufacturing/production experience is a plus, but not required
• Extended standing/sitting at an inspection station
• Ability to wear cleanroom gowning where required

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect final container products (vials, syringes, ampules, etc.) for particles, defects, and irregularities
• Segregate and flag non-conforming units per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Document inspection results in batch records/quality systems
• Report defects or anomalies to Quality personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized inspection workstation
• Follow gowning, safety, and cGMP requirements

The Basics

Location: Albany, Ohio (onsite)
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time as a Temporary Employee
Schedule: Pick your schedule ... minimum of 4 hours/week, or up to 40 hours/week ... Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM ... Project will start on September 14, 2026 and is anticipated to run through January 2027
