Job summary

Elbit Systems of America, LLC is seeking a Product Transition Technician to implement tactics for new product lines and bridge Product Development with Operations. You will conduct engineering tests, analyze data, and design fixtures and processes, building prototypes and solving complex equipment issues.

Meticulous documentation and clear communication with engineering staff and facility teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related hands-on technical experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Soldering certified or ability to certify.
• Electronics experience and OSHA/EPA compliance knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office; CAD experience preferred (Windchill, Cadence).

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tests and analyze data to support process development and optimization.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment, identifying root causes of issues.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure designs meet cost and manufacturability targets and to schedule use of production equipment.
• Participate in peer reviews and contribute insights on manufacturing capability, potential failure modes, process controls, and process qualification.
