Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics LLC in Rockville, MD seeks a Configuration Transfer Specialist to move product, material and process information from development to production, coordinating across departments to ensure accuracy and compliance with MSD quality, ISO, and regulatory standards.

You will prepare BOMs, routings, product specs, and related documents, support change control processes, and help implement new products with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, R&D, Product Transfer, Quality or related department.
• Minimum 1 year experience with product commercialization including QA, manufacturing, transfer or development.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or biotech industry preferred.
• Experience with Change Control and/or Document Control processes required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne desired.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Aras Innovator desired.

Responsibilities

• Attend design reviews and other project related meetings.
• Communicate configuration considerations for product design.
• Provide feedback on timelines and processing constraints.
• Define scope of configuration activities with development teams.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure information accuracy from development team.
• Communicate documentation issues and solutions to product development team.
• Generate documentation related to impact assessments and implementation preparation.
• Generate Parts Maps for impacts, new product requirements, and implementation plan.
• Prepare BOMs, routings, product specifications, etc.
• Support departmental training and development of new tools.
• Ensure compliance to document and record control per MSD, ISO, regulatory requirements.
