Job summary

MSD is seeking a Configuration/Transfer Specialist to manage product, material, and process information transfer from development to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation and product data meet quality, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in related settings, familiarity with Change/Document Control, and experience with ERP/PLM systems. This position offers strong growth in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, R&D, Product Transfer, Quality or related department.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with product commercialization including QA, manufacturing, product transfer, or product development.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or biotech industry preferred.
• Experience with Change Control and Document Control processes is required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is desired.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Aras Innovator is desired.

Responsibilities

• Attend design reviews and communicate configuration considerations for product design.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure accuracy of information from development team.
• Generate documentation for impact assessments and implementation preparation.
• Prepare BOM, routings, and product specifications for configuration.
• Support departmental training and development of new tools.
• Ensure compliance with MSD quality, ISO and regulatory requirements.
