Job summary

VELUX seeks a Product Testing Engineer to join the Engineering team at our Greenwood site. You will design and execute laboratory tests for new products, materials, and components, analyze data, and communicate findings to support product development, validation, and certification efforts.

You will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and test data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute laboratory test programs for new products, materials, and components.
• Define test requirements, conduct testing, analyze results, and communicate findings.
• Support product development, validation, and certification efforts.
• Contribute to root cause investigations and cost-reduction projects.
• Balance multiple priorities while ensuring safe and efficient testing.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering
