Job summary

VELUX Gro up in Greenwood, South Carolina seeks a Product Testing Engineer to support laboratory testing for new products, materials and certifications. You will plan and execute tests, analyze results and provide data-driven recommendations to improve product performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate holds a BEng in Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineering with 3–6 years of hands-on testing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical findings to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in product testing, development, materials engineering, manufacturing, quality, or lab operations.
• Strong analytical capabilities; able to interpret drawings, specs, standards and data.
• Curious, hands-on and able to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with product validation, certification testing, materials evaluation or continuous improvement is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute laboratory test programs for new products, modifications, materials and components.
• Define test requirements, conduct testing, analyze results and communicate findings in technical reports.
• Support product development and validation efforts by evaluating performance under real-world conditions.
• Assist with material approvals, incoming material evaluations and manufacturing support activities.
• Develop and maintain laboratory test methods, equipment and procedures.
