Our client is seeking a Product Testing Engineer to join their engineering team on a contract basis. As a Product Testing Engineer, you will be part of the engineering organization supporting product validation and quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical problem-solving, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to execute complex test strategies with precision and consistency.

Job Title: Product Testing Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL

Pay Range: $40- to $45/hr

What's the Job?

Lead high-level testing strategies to validate product performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Execute advanced test protocols and coordinate validation activities to ensure accurate, repeatable results.

Diagnose complex defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions through the validation lifecycle.

Ensure products meet rigorous quality and validation requirements through thorough documentation and verification.

Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to support onboarding requirements, including a required meet and greet for new hires.

What's Needed?

5+ years of hands‑on experience in complex product testing, validation, and quality assurance.

Relevant Level 3 (L3) certifications.

Proven ability to develop and execute test strategies and advanced test protocols.

Strong defect diagnosis and troubleshooting skills, including root‑cause analysis for complex issues.

Ability to complete mandatory background check requirements prior to onboarding.
