Job summary

Enpro is seeking a Product Test Technician to support product development, validation, and continuous improvement through hands-on testing and precise data collection. You will help ensure STEMCO products meet high quality and reliability standards for customers by setting up tests, recording results, and collaborating with engineers on specifications and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collect, validate, and document testing data accurately.
• Ability to follow test procedures in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down product performance tests and equipment.
• Install, operate, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Use data acquisition software to collect and report results.
• Verify accuracy and integrity of test data before reporting.
• Assist engineers with test equipment design and specification.
• Support development and execution of test procedures.
• Maintain organized testing records and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on product development.
• Promote a safe, clean, and efficient lab environment.
