Job summary

Cooper Standard is seeking a technician-level professional for our test laboratory. The role involves setting up and running tests, reporting results, and troubleshooting testing problems to ensure quality data and compliant documentation.

You will work with mechanical testing on diverse product types, maintain records, and assist with fixture assembly and equipment maintenance while following procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year college degree or technical training preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Skills in plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Good interpersonal skills for team work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
