Job summary

ICON is seeking a Product Test Technician I to support operation, integration, and troubleshooting of test systems. You will assist with test infrastructure maintenance, fabrication of test articles, and collaborate with the test engineering team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 0–2 years in related testing, and a strong interest in fabrication and troubleshooting; willingness to learn Beckhoff TwinCAT PLC systems is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates preferred.
• 0–2 years in mechanical, electrical, or fluid-system testing.
• Able to read schematics and technical docs.
• Familiar with mechanical tools, fasteners, and gear assemblies.
• Willingness to learn PLC systems (Beckhoff TwinCAT).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist setup, operation, and troubleshooting of test systems.
• Support maintenance of test infrastructure and fluid systems.
• Fabricate and integrate test articles and equipment.
• Assist with motion-control and subsystems integration.
• Document test data and SOPs; ensure safety compliance.
• Support on-site testing, repair, and troubleshooting under supervision.
