Job summary

Google Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Share Product Technology Manager for the Universal Commerce Protocol. You will work in gTech’s Professional Services, supporting API ecosystems for Shopping and guiding partner integrations across Google’s products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience using Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI agent technologies and building solutions.
  • Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows).
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with code hosting platform, open source and DevRel.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and maintain technical repositories (e.g., on code hosting platform), applying best practices for repository management, linters, continuous integration (CI) infrastructure, community triage, developer tooling, and technical documentation (e.g., READMEs).
  • Provide high touch technical guidance, partner education, implementation reviews, and troubleshooting for strategic partners to guarantee successful integrations and resolve technical challenges within defined service level agreements.
  • Develop technical tools, open-source utilities (e.g., SDKs, scripts), and documentation to expedite partner implementation, improve developer experience (DevX), and enhance operational scaling with Engineering.
  • Work with Product Managers, Partner Operations Managers, and Engineering to channel partner feedback and prioritize new product features and tool requests to improve processes, performance, and product offerings.
  • Identify, drive, and optimize growth for new business opportunities by leveraging data and Google technologies.
