Job summary

SBA Home North Carolina, the first USA production facility by SBA Group from Lithuania, is seeking a Product Technician to lead development of new and existing products and production processes. You will analyze product documentation, select materials, and describe technologies and their parameters.

You will also test materials, organize sample production, monitor the process for efficiency, and prepare production technology flow descriptions while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• University degree in production/mechanical engineering or furniture/wood technology is advantageous.
• SolidWorks and other drawing systems experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar technology/product development role.

Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. Today we are looking for a Product Technician (technologist) to lead the development of new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities - lead the development of new and existing products/production processes

• Analysis of product documentation and drawings
• Research and selection of materials from the market.
• Description of technologies and their parameters.
• Testing and selection of new materials.
• Organizing sample production and process control.
• Monitoring and optimizing the technological process to reach maximum efficiency.
• Communicate, share, and organize the collected information, and initiate the application of best practices in the organization.
• Perform cost calculations for products.
• Prepare descriptions of production technology flows.

We believe you:

• Have a university degree; a background in production/mechanical engineering or furniture/wood technology is an advantage.
• Have SolidWorks and other drawing systems' experience.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role in technology/product development.
• Possess analytical thinking, and are capable of calculations and data systematization.
