The Meta Product Technical Program Management (TPM) community is pioneering technologies to bring people (and businesses) closer together at a global scale. Product TPMs work at the intersection of technical execution and business strategy, partnering closely with Engineering and Product teams. Being a TPM at Meta means driving impact by delivering measurable results across various domains. Responsibilities include defining and guiding high-level goals and roadmaps, monitoring progress, and defining functional requirements for new products and features. A strong technical background, understanding system architecture, and effective collaboration skills are essential.

You will lead technical strategy and execution on company-wide platforms and services used across Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and Oculus. Teams span areas such as Ads, Business Integrity, Monetization, Commerce, Business Messaging, Privacy, Social Impact, Growth, Internationalization, and more. This posting covers multiple full-time roles across the company.

Product Technical Program Manager Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage end-to-end technical product solutions ensuring on-time delivery.
2. Manage cross-functional products and programs within a matrix organization.
3. Help define team roadmaps and long-term strategies.
4. Design impact measurements and drive process improvements.
5. Articulate technology requirements, goals, and milestones.
6. Collaboratively define the vision for building Meta-scale, global products.
7. Develop and oversee project plans, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure quality.
8. Identify dependencies and develop mitigation strategies.
9. Work swiftly within a flat organization to improve execution, focusing on privacy and security at scale.
10. Communicate planning, status, issues, and risks to stakeholders timely.
11. Bridge product and infrastructure teams to address adoption challenges and champion privacy/security.
12. Align product decisions with broader company initiatives.
13. Bring a strong sense of ownership and execution to the team.
14. Establish shared goals across product teams to build alignment and scale products for Meta.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management.
• Experience delivering technology programs or products from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of user needs, requirements gathering, and scope definition.
• Proven ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams, with critical thinking and leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with technical management to develop systems and solutions.
• Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking skills.
• Analytical problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
• Experience working across disciplines and time zones.
• Experience building and delivering customer-focused products with technological understanding of underlying platforms.
