Job summary

Onward Technologies is seeking a Product Specialist & Systems Engineer to own product design evaluation, DFMEA, testing and analysis for new and existing products. You will liaise between engineering and customer support to understand needs and drive quality.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, 3+ years of related experience, proficiency with 2D/3D CAD tools, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of product design, testing or application specialist experience.
• Familiarity with DFMEA and root cause analysis.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own product design evaluation, DFMEA, testing and analysis for new and existing products.
• Liaise between Engineering and Customer Support to address customer needs and training requirements.
• Apply SPC/quality tools to improve design robustness and cost.
• Drive root-cause corrective actions for warranty and field issues.
• Prepare and maintain product specifications, test reports, and documentation.
