Job summary

Bayer’s Pittsburgh Product Supply organization offers a hands-on co-op in a regulated medical device environment. You will work with engineers, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing operations on projects and data-driven improvements.

Gain exposure to end-to-end product supply processes, participate in root-cause investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement in a collaborative, onsite setting at Bayer’s Pittsburgh-area locations.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in manufacturing operations, medical devices, or continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute within Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Operations.
• Support critical projects across Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support day-to-day operational processes including production planning and procurement.
• Participate in root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist with developing and maintaining SOPs and visual work instructions.
• Lead or support process-improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and performance.
• Prepare and present project updates and recommendations to site leadership.
