Job summary

CMC Rescue Inc. is seeking a Product Specialist to become a subject matter expert and drive product lifecycle management from specification to profitability.

You will coordinate with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure viable products and strong market positioning. The role emphasizes analytics, cross-functional teamwork, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into commercial success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing and successfully leading the product management function desired
• Experience in rescue or work at height equipment desired

Responsibilities

• Conducts product market and sales analysis to inform management recommendations on product development, positioning and pricing opportunities, including discontinuation.
• Creates and presents a business case for new product development projects to justify resources.
• Defines product specifications for new products and improvements.
• Determines product positioning and pricing in the context of the existing product line and competitive environment.
• Collaborates with engineering to ensure specifications are executed in development and launch processes.
• Participates in design reviews to ensure specifications are met during development.
• Works with marketing to define target customers, value propositions, and technical applications for product launches.
• Interacts with customers, service, sales, and operations to gather feedback and support the product roadmap.
