Job summary

Valvoline Global Operations seeks a Product Strategy Intern for hands-on exposure to business practices and processes within the Global Product Strategy & Management team. The role focuses on supporting strategic projects, research, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

The internship runs up to 12 weeks starting May 2027 and is paid on-site. Candidates should be enrolled in an undergraduate program and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and analytical

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong Excel skills preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• A passion for developing world class products and claims to help ignite business growth

Responsibilities

• Own and drive 1–2 major business projects to develop a strategic vision for selected platforms in the Americas region.
• Assist with day-to-day business operations and tasks within the assigned department.
• Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports or presentations to garner support for decisions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to achieve departmental goals.
• Assist with event coordination, project tracking, and internal communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and special assignments.
• Develop new marketing assets and product claims to drive product velocity.
• Uphold confidentiality of information and comply with company policies.

We're looking for a summer intern for our Global Product Strategy & Management team. The Product Strategy Intern will gain exposure to professional business practices and processes while contributing to team objectives. The intern gains valuable workplace experience and develops foundational skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving.

Valvoline Global Operations Americas Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We prefer candidates willing to work an in-office work schedule (4x per week).
