Job summary

Valvoline Global Operations invites engineering interns to gain hands-on experience by supporting the plant with document preparation, data analysis, and quality system tasks. You will work under the Plant Manager, Quality Supervisor, and Plant Engineer to learn process improvement and operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

The Engineering Intern will be asked to perform a variety of entry level technical duties as needed to assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of engineering/quality documents, and create ad hoc reports. The candidate will utilize their field of study (chemical, industrial, electrical, mechanical, civil) degree paths to bring critical‑thinking skills into the role and to gain hands‑on experience in the assigned internship. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Plant Manager, Quality Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Plant Engineer.

How You Make an Impact

• Engage in time motion studies
• Participate in various assigned facility meetings, teams, and initiatives that support the operations and quality systems.
• Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; applicant must be a student attending classes at a university/college
• Must have strong attention to detail and excellent math skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and willing to work in a very fast paced environment

• Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Laboratory environment. Some light lifting <35lbs. required
• Environment: Temperature controlled indoors in mostly office area but also varies in manufacturing portion of facility.
