Job summary

Flexsteel Industries Inc. in Dubuque, IA seeks a detail‑oriented professional to support market and product trend research for new development projects within Forward Plan. You will assist in preparing deliverables and communicating initiatives across functions.

You will maintain the product portfolio data, understand core offerings, and collaborate with Design & E&D to integrate new features into development efforts. Travel of 10% is required. A bachelors degree or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts Market/Product trend research (inspiration, function price) in support of new development projects in Forward Plan.
• Supports and participates in preparation and presentation of project deliverables required by NPD Stage Gate process.
• Ensures NPD initiatives are communicated to cross functional departments as necessary throughout organization (beyond 'gated' process).
• Assists with Product Portfolio management by updating the Value Profile support data and maintaining visual display of Promote/Support/Retire product, by category and Value Profile tier as required.
• Develops and maintains an understanding of core product offering.
• Works with corporate purchasing and quality control to understand and resolve product concerns negatively impacting customer experience.
• Collaborates with Design & D&E team to incorporate new / updated function and or features into new developments
• Travel Required (10%)
