Job summary

Coda Search is partnering with a leading alternative asset manager to hire a Product Strategist for its Private Wealth team in New York. You will act as a key product and investment resource, translating complex investment concepts into clear materials for investors and advisors.

You will collaborate with Sales, Investor Relations, Product, Investment, Legal, and Marketing to develop narratives, respond to inquiries, and support the launch of new private market products for the wealth channel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product strategy, investor relations, or related roles.
• Solid knowledge of alternative investments and private markets.
• Experience with wealth management audiences (RIAs, advisors) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

Coda Search is partnering with a leading alternative asset manager to hire a Product Strategist for its growing Private Wealth team in New York. This individual will serve as a key product and investment resource for the firm’s private wealth distribution platform, partnering closely with Sales, Investor Relations, Product, Investment, Legal, and Marketing teams. The Product Stratgist be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the firm’s alternative investment strategies (i.e credit, private equity, real assets, etc) and translating complex investment concepts into clear, compelling materials and messaging for its investor base.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject-matter expert on the firm’s alternative investment products, including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and other private market strategies.
• Partner with the Private Wealth sales team to support client and prospect meetings, product presentations, due diligence sessions, and advisor education.
• Develop and maintain product positioning, investment narratives, competitive analysis, pitchbooks, and presentations
• Translate complex investment strategies, portfolio information, performance data, and market developments into clear and compelling messaging for wealth management audiences.
• Support the launch and ongoing development of new private market products and vehicles designed for the private wealth channel.
• Respond to RFPs, DDQs, product inquiries, and ad hoc requests from financial advisors, platforms, consultants, and institutional partners.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Product teams to ensure all materials and communications are accurate and compliant.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product strategy, product specialist, investor relations, private wealth, asset management, investment banking, consulting, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of alternative investments and private markets, ideally including private equity, private credit, real estate, or infrastructure.
• Experience supporting a wealth management, private bank, RIA, broker-dealer, or financial advisor audience is highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate sophisticated investment concepts clearly.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
