Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks a Product Specialist (Consumer Electronics) for a 12-month contract in Plano, TX onsite.

The role focuses on analyzing STG content, identifying missing models, and coordinating with the PI Team to ensure complete, accurate service content before product launches. The position requires 2–3 years in engineering or technical fields within home appliance sectors, plus strong documentation and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in Engineering or Technical Field / Home Appliance field.
• Maintain high level of technical knowledge in Home Appliance and Electronic Products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current STG status to determine extent of missing contents.
• Determine models missing from STG.
• Check for content types including Error Codes, Service Guides, Exploded View, Wire Diagrams, etc.
• Collaborate with PI Team to add missing models to STG.
• Prioritize models with high service demand/warranty portion.
• Review Service & Training Manuals and create content for new models prior to launch.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Product Specialist (Consumer Electronics). This is a 12 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX (Onsite).

Pay Range: $40 - $47/hour.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge within the Home Appliance and Electronic Products, both Sales, Product & Customer Care Departments.
• Manage to enhance service expertise by reviewing service contents for products and functions and providing improvements for service contents.
• Development, preparation and critical review of technical reports, technical documents, test procedures, user guides, installation and maintenance manuals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 2-3 years experiences in Engineering or Technical Field / Home Appliance field
