Job summary

Hamilton Company is seeking a Product Specialist to drive innovation and support market-leading laboratory products including syringes, pumps and valves. The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and strong communication to support product strategy and launches.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering, conduct training, demonstrations, and develop materials with the MarCom group to grow the product portfolio and meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or Life Science discipline is required.
• Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• Experience with product management, development, or laboratory equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Product Manager to identify market opportunities and develop product strategy.
• Be the point of contact for product-related questions from internal and external sources.
• Assist with product development projects and launches.
• Conduct sales and product training within the organization and channels/partners.

Responsibilities

The Product Specialist role at Hamilton is an opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on innovation and develops some of the best laboratory products in the world. A primary focus will be becoming the subject matter expert on Hamilton's market-leading laboratory products including syringes, pumps, valves, and more. The Product Specialist is also a key contributor to day-to-day product support tasks, product development, and product training for the Hamilton customer network.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work with the Product Manager to identify new market opportunities, develop product strategy, develop and launch new products, and manage the existing portfolio.
• Be the point of contact for all product-related questions from internal and external sources.
• Assisting the Product Management and Engineering teams in product development projects and launches.
• Conduct sales and product training within the organization and associated channels/partners.
• Attend internal and external training for product strategy and development.
• Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff and other stakeholders.
• Assisting with the development and execution of product line business plans.
• Work with the MarCom group to develop customer-facing product marketing materials.
• Assist the Product Manager in achieving the revenue growth targets for the product portfolio.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and communication skills with a focus on communicating complex concepts in a clear, concise style.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with thorough follow-up and organization of all open and pending activities.
• Excellent time management, and related organizational skills, including a proactive approach, and a suitable ability to anticipate and manage project life cycle events, issues and obstacles.
• Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams.

Education/Experience

• Bachelors degree from an accredited, not-for-profit institution, in a technical or Life Science discipline (Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or similar) required.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• Experience with product management, product development, or the laboratory equipment industry is a plus.
• Strong background in Excel/Powerpoint, D365 experience preferred.
