Job summary

Amca is building America’s aviation and defense supply chain with hands-on software tooling across headquarters and factory sites. This Product Software Engineer role blends product management, software engineering, and design to identify constraints, validate ideas, and deliver production-ready solutions.

You will own problems end-to-end, design interfaces, and drive adoption while collaborating with production, quality, planning, supply chain, and engineering teams nationwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years shipping production full-stack software.
• Production experience with TypeScript and React.
• Ownership of a project from discovery through deployment and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Embed with teams at headquarters and factory sites to observe operations and identify constraints.
• Interview operators and engineers to quantify current process costs before proposing changes.
• Evaluate whether software is the right solution or if process changes are preferred.
• Own the product decision, including scope and prioritization, without a separate PM writing requirements.
• Build end-to-end solutions using TypeScript/React on the front end and Go on the back end.
• Design clean interfaces suited for production use and operational environments.
• Move quickly from concept to working software and surface usable versions early.
• Drive adoption after launch by gathering feedback and iterating for measurable value.
• Retire prototypes that do not earn continued investment with clear ownership.
