Caterpillar's Cat Technology group is seeking a Product Service Engineer to enhance health targets and support NPI products within the construction sector. You will work with dealer, service, and field teams to improve uptime and field performance across our technology portfolio.

The role emphasizes collaboration with global teams, development of training materials, and support for service literature. Travel up to 30–50% is required; multiple U.S. locations are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Technical product support experience.
• Experience with telematics or productivity technologies is preferred.
• Product/customer support, quality, or aftermarket experience.
• 6 Sigma Green Belt experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop procedures to ensure product quality and identify deficiencies.
• Collaborate with product teams to correct design flaws.
• Provide triage support and route issues to the right teams.
• Maximize customer uptime with quick field improvements.
• Review and edit service literature for dealer and customer success.
• Gather internal and external feedback for new products or improvements.
• Assist in new customer onboarding and deployment.
• Support data gathering to inform technical teams.
• Work with partners to enable scalable dealer training.
