Safe Software is seeking a Product Security Specialist II to join the Product Security team, working across the SDLC to strengthen security practices and support the AI governance program for developers.

You will engage customers and partners, write security policies, review third‑party components, and help expand security coverage beyond core engineering in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product security or related cybersecurity role.
• Ability to communicate security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with security tooling and secure SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder enablement and communication with developers and partners.
• Contribute to security policies and risk registers.
• Review third-party libraries and vendor components for security risk.
• Support AI governance for developers and training across the org.
• Assist with vulnerability disclosure processes and incident follow-up.
• Provide security coverage for non-engineering apps and services.
• Contribute to security KPI tracking and governance dashboards.
