Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Platform Security engineer to lead security assurance for the user-facing experience layer, including front-end frameworks and rendering pipelines. You will influence how controls are designed and drive secure-by-default patterns across multi-team programs, including AI agent‑driven experiences and guest-user data access.

Ideal candidates have deep expertise in web security, threat modeling, and the ability to review JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one other modern

Qualifications

Deep expertise in web security and modern UI frameworks or data-access APIs.
Threat-modeling experience across complex web/UI/data-access environments.
Ability to reason about AI/LLM risk and agent security applied to products.
Track record of authoring security standards and leading cross-team security programs.

Responsibilities

Lead security assurance for the experience and UI layer, driving threat modeling, security design reviews, and code reviews across web and UI frameworks.
Serve as standing security lead for multi-quarter programs such as guest-user data access expansion and trust models for agent-facing products.
Push secure patterns into frameworks, SDKs, and rendering pipelines and define security standards adopted by teams.
Own AI and agentic risk, design gates for high-risk actions, and define least-privilege scoping and auditing for integrations.
