Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Security to lead illicit trade and brand protection across the global portfolio. You will develop and implement strategies to counter counterfeit and illicit distribution, while coordinating with Legal, Operations, and Government agencies.

The role emphasizes policy development, threat intelligence, and collaboration with external partners to safeguard patient safety and product integrity.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level or higher with documented enforcement and program management experience in global brand protection.
• Advanced degrees with 4+ years of experience in private sector brand protection in biopharma preferred.
• Extensive experience across multiple qualification levels and seniority in security programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead illicit trade and brand protection strategy for Amgen portfolio.
• Define threat monitoring, incident reporting, and enforcement protocols.
• Coordinate with Global Security, Operations, and LAW for cross‑functional alignment.
• Develop and execute online monitoring across marketplaces, social media, and websites.
• Investigate suspected illicit activities and liaise with law enforcement as needed.
• Promote education and awareness of product security issues internally and externally.
