Illumio offers a 12-week internship in Sunnyvale, CA, focusing on product security from design through release. You will work with senior engineers to learn vulnerability management, threat modeling, and secure coding practices.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with SAST/DAST tools, build security automation scripts, and contribute to security documentation while collaborating across engineering teams.

Formación

• Coursework or project experience in secure coding, application security, or network security.
• Enrolled in full-time Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field with expected graduation Winter 2026/Spring 2027.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Go, C++).

Responsabilidades

• Participate in secure code reviews and threat modeling alongside experienced security engineers.
• Help build security automation scripts and tools that streamline vulnerability detection and triage.
• Research emerging threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies relevant to Illumio’s technology stack.
• Contribute to internal security documentation and promote secure coding practices across engineering teams.
