Job summary

Gecko Robotics is hiring a Product Security Engineer to build and scale application security across our product and cloud platforms. You will work hands-on with engineers to make secure software the default, automate security workflows, and reduce manual effort as we scale.

You will partner with platform teams to strengthen cloud security in AWS and Google Cloud, review code and infrastructure for risks, and support SOC 2/ISO compliance as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application security or DevSecOps.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Build and improve application security across the product and cloud.
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Review code and infrastructure for security risks.
• Automate security tasks and build scalable guardrails.
• Collaborate with platform teams to strengthen cloud security (AWS or Google Cloud).

Skills

5+ years in application security

Cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)

CI/CD security integration

Programming in Python/JavaScript/Java/

Strong English communication

Travel 4-6 times/year
